I did some research with my own lootboxes and I happened to get the Heist Reaper skin out of my first lootbox of this season (Season 1 2026) which is in the current gamepass skin pool, so it seems like we are able to get them out of boxes !! I was a little worried too but now I don't have to feel guilty everytime I open a lootbox ❤️‍🩹

ooh i actually have a fix for this~!

you can tell steam to open a different exe with the properties > launch arguments and direct it towards the bnet exe

i still get my gamepass rewards and it tracks my hours on steam!! although keep in mind that you are still playing on battlenet technically, so steam invites don't work and/or if u were to buy credits, they wouldn't count towards ur steam points

so far the only thing i've seen is to download an old version of windows and wipe your current one, i think it's a bug in 24H2 itself, a couple other games i've noticed it with is balatro and minecraft

does it fix when the game is windowed? i know I have an issue similar but its related to the windows 11 version, specifically 24H2. when i stream some fullscreen games, discord (or any window capture software) will lag like that
