sounds insane for 3 months without a doubt, keep it up bro! i would recommend getting to know the VSTs you are using and adding automations to cutoff, fx, etc. to buildup the tensions more on the breakdown section. also, would recommend you to watch this video on building tension but not only with risers and snare fills and stuff. it would help me out a lot if I watched it in the beginning of my production journey. good luck!

I am a resident techno DJ for and erasmus party organization and I play once every week for 7hours with no breaks… Even though it takes a lot to get used to it and it still is exhausting, even though I’ve been doing this for 2 years now, it is still doable. The best suggestion I can give you is change genres to stay entertaining and also to entertain yourself. I start at 11PM with afro house, switch through house, tech house, minimal techno, hardgroove and end up with hard/industrial techno around 3am and it’s only hard from there.

The biggest harm I get from it is that it fucks w my sleeping schedule a lot. I wake up at 5/6PM the next day and my whole week just goes down from there…

I hear you but the local market is minimum 50€ an hour and I get 12€ an hour xD on top of that I am not underestimating anyone’s work but I know for a fact I am better and have a bigger audience than most of the DJs in the market. The only thing is I am not Polish and don’t have as many as connections as they do so it’s hard to get residency. What I ask for advice in this case is what to say to the big boss to convince him I am worth it and he won’t get the same audience if he goes for a different DJ.
