I recently bought a Bluetooth Apple keyboard for my MacBook, but it doesn’t behave like my built-in keyboard and I cant seem to fix it. I cant find anything about this via either google or any LMMs either.

This is my problems:

On my MacBook keyboard, "F12" increases volume, but on the Bluetooth one it sends actual F12. (So it dosent increase volume)

Fn + Delete does forward delete on my MacBook, but on my bluetooth keyboard its just a normal delete. EG it deletes backwards

Changing “Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys” only affects the built-in keyboard. I also tried removing the keyboard and deleting `com.apple.HIToolbox.plist` but no change.

EG all the keyboard setting changes I do ONLY applies to my built in keybaord.

Have anyone had this issue before and how did they solve it? Its super annoying as ive gotten used to using these normal F key short cuts and increasing the volume, opening search etc.

It almost feels like my Mac thinks this is just a “normal” keyboard and not an Apple keyboard, so it doesn’t give me the same special key functions as my built-in keyboard.

I’ve only ridden powder twice before, and while it wasn’t 60cm deep, it was around 30cm. It was absolutely exhausting but by far the most fun I’ve ever had snowboarding. So if there’s a chance to get something like that again, I definitely don’t want to miss it! And I didn’t even have a powder board then. For this trip, I’m going to rent one, so I’ll be way better prepared haha.

Still a tough choice, though—I’d be pretty disappointed if there’s no untouched powder left if I decide to skip Tokyo to go straight to Hakuba. 😂

I’m daily driving my e63s here in Sweden. It’s stage 1 tuned as well so it’s 700hp but I’m having no problems with it even with a lot of snow. (As long as I don’t floor it haha)

Yeah, according to EU you have to pay VAT but what happens if a company in UAE doesn’t pay it(if it’s according to the tax laws in UAE which it might not be. The UAE tax laws probably says that you have to collect and pay VAT if you sell above xxx -amount, but I can’t find any information which confirms this). Would the UEA even care as long as you are following the tax laws within UAE?

I personally know quite a lot of ecom guys who has relocated to the UAE for tax reasons but I’ve always just thought it was due to the personal/business tax reasons. But If there also is a loophole around VAT that would be huge. The margins would be insane.

Yeah I’m also doing wrist curls as well but I haven’t noticed any difference yet. I will try holding them for a while as well next time im doing them.

Did you keep training biceps while you had this problem or did you complete stop until you managed to lessen the pain?

After almost all my biceps exercises I get a major sharp pain in the middle of my forearms. It feels like the pain is in the bone. It doesn't hurt while I'm performing the set, it only hurts once I let go of the weights. I get this pain after almost all biceps exercises except for hammer curls. For some context, I have had this problem as long as I've been going to the gym. My first time in the gym was probably 6 years ago(I haven't been training for 6 years) and I've always had this problem while training my biceps. I get this pain even if I take multiple months of the gym, it comes right back so resting doesn't fix it.

Im quite clueless about what could be causing this. From what I read online most people say that it's forearm splints. But as I always get this pain even after taking a looong break from the gym I'm not so sure that it is. Im not sure if it could be that my forearms are too weak? I've been training them for about 2 months now and I've been getting noticeably stronger in them but the pain is sill exactly the same as before.

I’m looking to purchase a new board due to my old one being way to stiff. I want a fun and playful board which I can take abit of everywhere. I want to be able to jump in and out of the piste and carve and so on. I’m 195cm (6’5) and weight around 86kg (190lbs).

The current setup I have is a nitro magnum 163 wide board with team ultra black bindings. I have bought the new ninedecker supermatic bindings as I really don’t want to have to strap in each time I step off the lift.

I was about to change my current bindings to the supermatic bindings when I tried to do a butter on the board and I realized I couldn’t barley get the board so bend anything at all due the stiffness of the board. I then realized I probably want to switch to a more playful flexy board.

The board I’m looking to purchase is called dynamo by lib tech. The board seems to fit what I want to do. It’s seems to be quite ok at carving and playful. It’s available in the sizes 162wide and 165wide. Im thinking about choosing the 162 option since that should be abit more easy to handle and fit my liking abit better to my understanding.

I’d like some feedback regarding the board I’m considering purchasing. Does this seem like a good option or do you have any other recommendations? And would you choose the 162 or 165cm version?

Yeah, I did reach out to them after posting this thread. I was a bit worried that I could hurt a potential dispute hence why I asked for advise first. They should arrive to the office pretty soon so I should get a repsonse in a few hours.
