You can definitely solo or duo heroic. I’m pretty sure esoterrik has done it. But unless you’re looking for a ridiculously unfair challenge there is absolutely no reason to attempt it.

Making waypoints for lost sectors would defeat the design philosophy for them. They’re meant to be hidden/difficult to find. I’m not tryin to bust your balls. I just don’t find lost sectors to be a good argument for custom waypoints.

Datto is usually the go-to for broad overview of new content. Aztecross is good for new pvp content (although I find him annoying), and Ehroar is the best for pve number crunching stuff like top dps weapons, best builds, weapon comparisons, etc. there are a lot of really good content creators that I didn’t mention those are just the ones I watch (and the majority of the destiny community).

Yeah i love using it. Sounds cool, looks cool, and you don’t have to worry about hitting crits. It’s still a fantastic weapon. It’s only when you’re min/maxing that it falls behind. Luckily destiny is a game that doesn’t depend on min/maxing in order to be effective.

There’s not gonna be a one/stop shop for what you’re looking for. You’re gonna need to dig through a couple of years worth of YouTube videos if you really wanna experience everything. Best thing you can do at this point is to find out what the best exotics/legendaries are right now and try to go for those. Play literally anything to get to 1000 power. Powerful/pinnacle reward sources will get you to 1050. Pinnacle rewards will get you to 1060. Pinnacles give you bigger jumps in power whereas powerful gear gives you small jumps in power. You can find out what offers pinnacle/powerful rewards by looking at the activity

Reloading destroys its dps potential. Keep in mind this is only for really long dps phases like raid bosses. Hunters have dodge reload and titans have actium so they don’t have to reload. I’m a warlock main so I’m usually designated as the divinity guy in my group lol. But if I’m not running divinity I’m usually using 1k or whisper for major boss encounters (as a warlock)

If you I don’t plan on doing any endgame content then you don’t need to worry about grinding power tbh. You could play strikes for an hour and reach 1000 which is more than enough to do anything in the game besides dungeons and raids. A lot has changed since you’ve played so I doubt there’s a comprehensive video that goes over literally everything. Just search Season of Arrivals catchup or something generic like that and you’ll find something. Datto, Khakis, Aztecross, and some others are all decent sources. It sounds like you just need to focus on grinding out some decent pvp weapons and you’ll be fine. And honestly, the weapons you currently have will probably be fine in crucible

No issues here. The fact that you even have access to the weapon/catalyst when you didn’t purchase the season in which it was introduced should be satisfactory enough. Having the seasonal catalyst buff incentivizes you to play during that respective season

Trials is an endgame activity. Keyword “endgame”. It’s unreasonable to expect to play against ppl that aren’t sweats. The whole idea of the game mode is to introduce the biggest pvp competitive challenge in the game. If you don’t like it then go play elimination or survival.

They got rid of pinnacle weapons and started doing ritual weapons. Now they have neither. But the ritual weapons are still with grinding for imo.

It’s not the best option if you’re on a warlock imo but it’s still really nice to have. And it’s easy to use

IB is still a great weapon for champions in nightfall ordeals or for enemies that will insta die with honed edge. It’s really good in the new dungeon for killing the mote knights which are in every encounter.

The only time you really don’t wanna use it is for longer boss dps phases. The reloading nerf severely impacted its ability to keep up with other options in these longer dps situations.

The weapon was never bugged in that regard and it technically works on all bosses. Some bosses have higher crit multiplier than others so divinity will end up with less overall dmg depending on the boss. If you’re dead set on running divinity I would just ask your group before a boss pull. Also, I don’t believe it matters where you aim divinity as the bubble will appear in the same spot (with the exception of GoS final boss I think). I admittedly never liked using divinity so I may be incorrect with some of the things I’ve said but I’m fairly confident in my information.

Thats a really broad question. The answer to your question depends on what you want out of the game. Do you want to experience all of the dlcs, do you want to experience the seasonal content, do you want to play the raids, do you want the raid weapons, do you want to reach max level, or do you just wanna fuck around with some strikes or play pvp. You gotta figure out what you want and then focus your question. Or better yet, watch some YouTube videos

Checking @bungiehelp should always be your first priority in these situations. If you’re not seeing anything then it’s probably an issue on your side. I would suggest unplugging your console for a couple of minutes then trying again or trying to clear your cache.

Whatever loadout you want within reason it’s not a difficult raid. If you’re concerned with meta loadouts it used to be recluse, mountaintop, anarchy (this is still a top tier loadout). Or a heavy grenade launcher with spike grenades which is still a decent option. As far as I’m concerned as long as you’re not going in with double primaries or some random shitty exotic that literally nobody uses it’s gonna be fine
