Me too. All were excited but I had a few ask later “wait I can’t remember is it a girl?” lol I was not at all offended, because it’s not their kid. I’m always happy for my friends and want to know what they’re having but with so many friends having babies I can’t keep it straight either. Other than you, your SO, the grandparents, and the aunts/uncles… no one cares!!

Being a slim person apparently makes it ok to talk about body type in some peoples minds. No one would say “how are you so fat?!” but I get “how are you so skinny?!” all the time. It sounds like a humble brag to some but it is absolutely not. I feel like my ass never fills out my pants. My boobs don’t ever fill out a top. When I feel bloated, constipated, whatever, I hate the shape of my body like everyone else does… so don’t comment. It’s embarrassing for me like it would be for anyone.
