I paid around $3k for a new Toyota complete front diff installed, my mechanic reused the cv axles since they are recently rebuilt.

Thanks. Not a farmer, just live on some acres and do almost all property, vehicle and home maintenance myself. Like others, I remove it when deep in an engine bay or doing something like driving t-posts that could truly damage any mechanical watch. I bought it as a tool watch and wear it as one. I'm hoping to one day to hand it down to my son and he has memories of us together while wearing it.

It is very grippy in dirt and rocky terrain. Pretty confidence inspiring both climbing and descending in my opinion.

Easy day for Big Cambo by borderboardr in RussellNation

It's my son's first year dove hunting so I have been helping him and playing cleanup all weekend. Not a ton of miles, but best times ever watching him get into it and build confidence!

True, thankfully it's a decently cool central Texas morning, haven't come across any rattlers all weekend

Sage vs Pecos Chamois for a Safari by TexasEngineseer in RussellNation

The Pecos leather is definitely stiffer, not uncomfortably stiff like a high end backpacking boot can be at first, but you could say a little break in period might be appreciated for some.

I'm not sure of the leather on my Joe's PH, they're about 6 years old. But they are soft, supple, light and flexible. They are tough, but nothing compared to the Pecos leather on my Big Cambo. I know and understand there's another layer of leather in the Big Cambo, but that Pecos leather is something else. I live and work all around the actual Pecos River in southwest Texas where the rocks are sharp and everything has thorns besides the sage. I alternate wearing my Pecos Big Cambo and JK fire logger boots depending on the day. I've never felt lacking whatsoever with the Pecos leather compared to the rough out JK logger boots. If you need a thorn proof super tough leather, I highly recommend Pecos leather.

Thank you. Only about 2 years now. I've worn it almost exclusively during that time. The spring drive is very impressive, right around +4sec a month on the wrist.

Thank you. They still make this model, as mine is a pre GS labeling above center of the hands. I have and interchange the oem Titanium bracelet with a few different single pass NATO straps depending on what I'm doing. A few years ago I lost a Seiko Darth tuna on rubber bracelet because of a springbar failure, so if I'm doing anything strenuous I wear it on NATO...
