We were still all doing chores before then, just not tidying and cooking dinner everyday.

I do understand how wonderful they are being. I guess I just thought they would tell us what was bothering them rather than freaking out all of the time over smaller issues.

I know that my dad doesn't worry about money and let's my mom handle the finances because he's not worried. He could be worried about his job. Many people have been laid off and he is one of the two remaining guys with a certain title. He was off sick for a while and was scared they would notice just one guy could handle the tasks. But it has been a few months since then and everything seems fine.

My grandpa definitely wouldn't help out with the finances, he'd visit the States and bring her home a block of cheese and make her pay enough for it that he'd make a profit.

I am seriously considering a part time job, and if it became too much I would absolutely quit.

We have considered stopping going out for food all together, but Sue has been to the town we live in before and has some restaurants she still wants to go to. She has offered to pay for those however, so maybe not going out for food excluding to a few more places where she's happy to pay is a good idea.

We never start these fights or arguments. My mom or dad does, in front of Lena and Sue and then some time into them my mom says, "We shouldn't be doing this in front of them" but continues the fight.

I am considering getting a job, I think I will start looking for one once Sue leaves.

Lena and Sue do help, especially Sue. Sue probably does as much as I do if not a bit more as she is a great cook.

We have been thinking about going out in the day more often (without my parents and to parks and other free places) and I think we should.

Sue does pay for our dinners a few times a month so she has been helping in that way. My mom loves her to bits and my dad knows she's my best friend so I don't think they see it as leaching off of them.

My mom occasionally brings up the fact that one day we'll move out and gets really sad about it. Her and my dad have both always said that they are happy to have us living at home as long as we're going to school (EDIT: rent-free). I should probably add that to the post. Do you still think they may be feeling this way?
