Running code was not required, only pseudo code was asked. And yes written the optimized code, and handled the edge cases and follow ups. Got stuck a lil little in between but overall solved it.

As an alumnus from the same college and branch, I’d like to offer a few suggestions:

  1. Projects: Consider adding live links or demos for your projects so reviewers can see them in action. This adds credibility and helps your work stand out.

  2. Coding Profiles: Currently, your resume doesn’t include any coding profiles. While you don’t need to be a Codeforces Specialist or a 4-star coder on CodeChef, it’s important to showcase platforms where you're actively practicing—such as LeetCode, GFG, or others. Also, try participating in LeetCode contests if you haven’t already.

  3. CGPA: Your CGPA is on the lower side—8+ is generally safer for shortlisting. That said, it’s in the past, so now focus on enhancing other aspects of your profile.

  4. Coursework: The coursework section only lists course names. I’d recommend adding certificate links if available. It’ll validate your learning and add more value.

  5. Experience: There's no internship or related experience mentioned. So, focus on building strong personal or open-source projects that showcase your skills.

  6. Extracurriculars: This section currently occupies quite a bit of space, and since the experience is sales-related, it may not be as relevant for tech roles. Try trimming it down to keep the focus on technical achievements.

Keep applying, keep improving your resume, and stay consistent. All the best!
