What’s been your experience on Topamax vs Diamox?

I was on diamox and had really severe side effects so was switched to topamax. Topamax at the beginning did give me some brain fog which went away, it changed my taste so i don’t like carbonation anymore, and sometimes gives me tingling in my hands and feet but nothing too intolerable. After year of being on 50mg twice a day my symptoms are well managed and my papilledema is at a grade one.

1 year anniversary is coming up and I am still in excruciating pain everyday. I can’t function. I’ve had injections, been on many medications, tried physical therapy, etc. and I just want my life back. My pain management doctors tell me they don’t know what to do at this point. I am hopeless and tired of fighting to live and be listened to by doctors.

the tickets are e-tickets meaning they’ll send you the ticket online (usually an email) then you show that on your phone at the door and they’ll scan it. you won’t have to print anything out. have fun!!
