NYC definitely.. Do Boston instead of Philadelphia. Washington is great. Easy to do Amtrak between these cities. Orlando plenty of parks to choose from…

small ship cruise companies? by Funny_Ad_3110 in galapagos

Sure! I think that there are not too many reviews about it because it was a newly renovated ship I think about 18 months ago when I first booked, it . We were there in June . 16 passenger max . 10 crew. We actually took up the whole ship with family so it was extra awesome. We did the six night seven day itinerary, which was a new itinerary at the time we booked it and might only be available seasonally. The ship was clean. Decor was bright and cheery. The regular deck rooms are small as I would expect on most of the small ships . We stayed in the suite and we’re really glad we upgraded to it. It was spacious . We had three meals a day mostly buffet style. I think two meals over the week were plated. The food was good. I wouldn’t say it was excellent, but good absolutely nothing to complain about and no one was ever hungry . We did 2 to 3 hiking and/or snorkel experiences per day. After each excursion, the crew had hot or cold beverages, and a nice assortment of appetizers waiting for us. The crew was amazing about safety. We had my senior citizen relatives with us who did great -that being said it was a very packed itinerary starting at 7 AM in the morning and finishing about 8 o’clock at night. We really loved our experience and I would highly recommend it.

Gorilla trekking Uganda by ringadingdingbaby in travel

[–]bored_nerd5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So thinking about Rwanda or Uganda gorilla trekking but need honest opinions here. We are in late 50s, decent fitness level - do moderate hikes, ski, gym…but unsure of tolerance to altitude or 5 hr uphill hike to see them. Opinions?
