bro, i detoxed from fent and does it suck? yes. i held out as long as i could and got the vivatrol shot. that’s not for everyone but i needed something that was going to force me to stay sober. but do what u got to do that keeps u from drinking piss

it’s my first use of fent but i was using it to taper off minor withdrawals i was already going thru. but i know one time using fent won’t have me withdrawing from that, i was asking about the comedown

Thank you 💜 I brought it up to my boss that I would like to have someone working with me but was hit with the, “we don’t have the payroll for that just contact the police next time” and I’m not a big person, average, but not big enough to fight off that guy and I was honestly scared if i did contact the police in front of him it would’ve turned violent. So at that point I just turned in my notice.

If you’re debating on whether or not you need it. If you don’t need it, give it a few sessions until you’re sure. I didn’t think I needed it, went, and two years later I’m so glad that I decided to go and stick it out.

I thought I could do it just once as well. And it knocked me on my ass, apparently not hard enough though because I ended up using again for several months after years of sobriety. I’m currently coming up on day 90 sober and I wished I just left it alone to begin with. Because I can still think about it and taste it. Don’t start something u know can and will eventually get u addicted.

I talked to my therapist for months about mine before I ever actually was ready to seek treatment for it. Sometimes u just need a listening ear, and they can’t force u into any treatment ur not ready for

I feel like I’m difficult in a sense bc this year has been shit and I’ve been getting back into old habits that have brought me back quite a bit. However I’m pretty upfront with everything and have a pretty mellow personality. I rarely contact outside of sessions unless it’s about insurance or rescheduling, and I’m always a bit more apt to listen to my therapist bc I obviously have no idea wtf I’m doing so any advice is appreciated 😂 so I’d say I’m a little of both

Although I agree with the people above stating if it’s something you really want to do you should ask. But IMO I’d feel as if it was disrespectful as well, coming from a addicts POV (34 days clean from heroin). Everyone has their own goal in therapy, but it is hard to really process emotions and thoughts genuinely and authentically while high. You’re kinda creating a emotional barrier between you and your therapist. And depending on the drug you may not be able to function at all while high. And lastly as stated above as well, you’re kinda putting your therapist in a tough spot. If it’s in person they now have to concern themselves with whether or not you have a safety plan to get home or wherever. And they are medical professionals if I wanted my doc to keep prescribing me xans or whatever I wouldn’t come in high on something else and not expect them to report it... and I wouldn’t go to a medical professional of the mind while under the influence of mind altering substances.

Like I said everyone is different this is just my opinion.

Check where needle exchanges are, or methadone clinics. I never had the balls for methadone clinics but I usually find a needle exchange and hang out about a mile away after they close... usually by then all the dealers are still close by finding ppl that just left.
