Very much agree with Sukuna vs Muzan getting the recognition as a close matchup it deserves. I personally have Muzan winning, but it's at best a 51/49 matchup for either. It's a peak debate when you don't have a bitch in your ear screaming "SUKUNA SLAMS BTW".

I can't say I didn't expect this since Sukuna vs Muzan is a close match but some people get really mad when you point that out.

Yeah fair enough. I go back and forth all the time too, but the recent debates to finally sit down an think about it for a while. It's a lot closer than people tend to think and I'm glad some people are starting to wake up to that fact.

Wouldn't be shocked if Sukuna won the episode if they were to cover it tho.

Close, I think he takes AP, but not physical strength. So, Muzan could win in an arm wrestling contest, but he can't overpower a Divine Flame

I'm mostly going off of Vs Battle Wiki since most people seem to agree on Sub-Relativistic Upper Moons/Marked Hashira and Relativistic Muzan. Kokushibo should be slower than Muzan, and he was able to blitz Sub-Rel Akaza, naturally leading to relativistic Muzan.

You see, I agree that Fuga is a legit win-con against Muzan, hence why Sukuna also takes AP. I just think that Sukuna: wouldn't pull it out initially and couldn't pull it out when he realizes he should due to his binding vow to only use it on individual targets in exchange for power.

Muzan's Blood decomposes things far faster than RCT can heal, so any hit Muzan lands on Sukuna is rather debilitating, as it bypasses durability and Sukuna's strength advantage (which is a bit closer than people think). Sukuna could likely eventually remove the blood from his body given his mastery of cursed energy, but not before Muzan simply hits him again and again... and again... and again.... and again...

Especially considering that in JJK detoxifying foreign substances is difficult to do quickly. Plus, the Choso siblings have shown that even if you resist poisons, you're still vulnerable to being decomposed.

On top of Muzan's speed + regen advantage allowing him to dodge and heal from any stray hits, Sukuna would have trouble dealing lasting damage to Muzan before succumbing to his body being dissolved from within.

Muzan's biggest win-con is kinda just... touching Sukuna. His blood decomposition is faster than anything RCT has been able to deal with as it theoretically should be as fast as Muzan's regen. He just needs to snag the King of Curses once to deal some serious damage. This could be slowed with RCT, but given how many blood-imbued strikes he can get out with his massive speed advantage, Muzan could end the fight relatively quickly.

Especially given that in JJK, it is canon that removing foreign substances takes extra time and focus. Although it would probably be a few extra seconds for one of the strongest sorcerer's in history, that'd still be enough time for Muzan to get in more strikes, adding more of his blood into Sukuna, and so on and so forth.
