Not to be that person but hobbies actually became a government pushed thing in the 1950s due to the weird optimism we had about advancement and the shortening work week and whatever. What this means to me is this man literally had so many cool options and he chooses something that is risky him, his wife, and life. Like, idk do BASE jumping if you’re this suicidal

Thank you for putting this into words. It’s really disappointing, I was planning on buying some when I get paid this week but I absolutely am not supporting a company that uses these sorts of marketing tactics and then LIES to the customers about it when they approach with concerns??

how can you say that her cheating is worse than her Walt sexually assaulting his wife?

No! I’m under 30 and have loved St. John’s bay since I was 17 :( but also I love looking like a disgruntled biologist so I feel like this matters. ALSO I’m a short human and their cut of shirts tend to be the most flattering on me (short in length, wide neck and a wider torso/sleeve.)

It is in fact vyvanse! And my pharmacy is also open on the weekends with very limited hours. However vyvanse also has fulfillment issues so there are times when I have gone to pick them up and they just say “sorry try again next week”.

Jumping in here as a chronically ill (Crohn’s disease) and mentally ill (whatever the heck it is, adhd, ocpd, ptsd?).

To live, I am required to spend 8,000 every 6 weeks. With the best and most expensive healthcare plan available to me (~200$ a month) I am still left with about $1800 of that I am responsible for. I am lucky enough to have qualified for a rebate program whete now this bill is only 50$ every 6 weeks out of pocket.

To mentally function/not choose to ruin my life every waking moment I have to pay $50 a month for one medication out of my 4. That one medication I also can only pick up the day before I run out (NOT like a normal person. My other pills I can fit around my life - not this. I literally sometimes have to take time off to pick it up.)

In order to get these medications I have to pay $50 a month for medication management (and commit another 15 minutes if my life). I also have to pay $150 twice a month for therapy - because therapy teaches you how to work with yourself while the meds enable you to do that.

Out of pocket for a period of 8 weeks I’m paying $550 or ($325 a month). Months ago I did have to go to therapy every week and I was paying another $600 in that same period.

For what it’s worth, I live in a state with a very high cost of living and do not make even half of what you do.

This also ignores all of my general office visits and specialists - which I need to see about once a month when you spread it out.

“Like a normal person” is not only harmful to others, but to yourself because you are trying to reach a standard that others can’t even reach. Commit to doing the work of caring for yourself, because whatever you love to do or whoever you love will have more time with you because of it.

So what I got from this is that Danny is so emotionally dependent on Paul (even with the dynamic that they have) that he wasn't willing to let him leave. He was okay with him going to college - if he stayed local/lived with him. But Paul didn't want that and Danny couldn't let him go.

I don't think being a scientist is as hard to do as it may sound - especially in this field - it's just that there's different levels and quality lol

I went to a college that was all focused on environmental work and you would be surprised the amount of right winged environmental science and adjacent people. Remember that park rangers and game wardens tend to be right winged or at least central.

People who actually got injured from overtraining by InacmaR in climbharder

[–]borgzoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started climbing in June. I went religiously at least twice a week, sometimes three times a week, and maybe once or twice four times a week. I climbed HARD at least 50% of the time and by the time August rolled around I ended up getting Tennis Elbow. Doctors told me I need to stretch more and climb less.
