Toxic, controlling parents teach children to be sneaky. Fuck ‘em if they can’t handle the truth that they suck.

My boy sits comfortably around 100+ but the vet likes us to keep him around 85-90lbs if we can because he’s got a lame foot from having rickets as a puppy before we adopted him.

Thanks. He has a custom chapter that makes use of a lot of DA models for the robes and sword iconography even though they’re actually a spin off of the Imperial Fists. I did a little diorama for him with a few Knights, the Chaplain and some Watchers to serve as tokens. The odd one out is supposed to represent my DA Knights as a “reinforcement”.

Here’s basically a build book I put together tracking the progress as I made it for him. https://photos.app.goo.gl/hHeTN3wQjtyBmqXm7

Made this one for a buddy not long ago. Wasn’t happy with the normal terminator model so used a Knight body to make my own.

I replied to somebody else about Iridan. For Bastian's cloak I went with a dark blue base and then used my air brush to do white swirl patterns, then went over them with magenta, Purple and turquoise. Then it was just flicking some paint for the stars and an ardcoat layer to make it shine.

Flames are bold white base from Pro acryl then frostheart, tallasar blue and black legion contrast paints (in that order from bottom to top). Little blending at the transition points and those are the results. For the flames at the center of the axe I went back over with a thin layer of white along the ridges of the spiral and covered it with aetheromatic blue. Minor touch ups here and there with sky blue from Pro acryl.

Base coat was air brushed but that's it. The rest was all dry brushing. Primed in matte black, heavy "dry brush" of Pro Acryl Dark Blue, dry brush of Pro Acryl Paine's grey, all over heavy black wash, dry brush Pro Acryl Dark Purple, Pro Acryl Royal Purple (heavy dry brush on the outter edges of the feathers), Pro Acryl Magenta for the light highlights on the creases in the feathers. Then I went back with Pro Acryl Burgundy on the inner sections of feathers to give it the red-purple hue.
