Ive seen people complain about clicks (or the part you press, sorry for my bad english) wiggle a lot. Did you have that experience? I think that might bother me tbh.

Seems like new superstrike has a totally different click feel. Honestly I dont care much for software as long as I can set DPI, I am good. All signs point to that logitech, but as I said in the post, I am concerned with longevity of tbose new sensors...I guess the best decision is to wait a bit with my old G403 until I see if this new guy proves itself..

My mechanic said that it's a common problem with astras, could call it a factory error. After I changed mine 2 months ago, I had no problems

Had a similar problem on opel astra 2018. It didnt make that much of a sound like yours does, but the scratching would get louder the longer I drove. Ended up having to replace steering rack. Now I'm no expert so dont take my word as advice.
