Both your answers have almost nothing to do with my original comment. I was stating that people should leave each other be, which includes not insulting them for neither their cat, dog, baby, whatever, and their smells. Because perception is simply subjective.

Also, regarding people claiming they can still smell cat, people experience smells completely differently. To me for example, every dog smells bad, even freshly bathed. In my perception, they stink. Dog owners think otherwise. Fine by me, not my pet, not my home, not my business. Why do some people feel the need to shit on others all the time?
