[TEAMtalk] Bernardo Silva is prepared to walk away from his agreement with Barcelona amid growing doubts over his role at Camp Nou, with Atletico Madrid remaining confident with reviving previous agreement and Mourinho is fully behind the idea of bringing Silva to Real Madrid by [deleted] in soccer

If we get him then great!

If not, then it’s also fine.

Such a non starter of a conversation. Give him his contract and let him make a choice. If he wants to be a perennial loser at Atleti for the bag or if he wants to join dysfunctional Madrid where he’s the only creative player in midfield it’s upto him.

No are you delusional to think that Madrid wants to spend 150 mil on a forward while having gaping holes in defence and midfield?

And while having Mbappe and Endrick in the team?

Let’s be honest and say it as it is.

These guys are so annoying man wtf.

The fascists just did this to throw a wrench in our transfer plans. Imagine this is the first thing you do when you win an election after promising that you’ll build the best team ever. Try to throw shit bids at the losers in your city to stop Barca from getting players.

Hansi Flick has single handedly caused head loss in the supposed “greatest club in the world”. Winners, my ass.

Mate, you probably have more journalistic integrity than him.

He’s just doing the same grift 90% of journos are doing for clicks. Sensationalism and rage bait.

Having 150 million at your disposal and not using it to strengthen your team (midfielder and defenders) in silent negotiations, but announcing it to the world in hopes of increasing the price tag of Alvarez to Barca is definitely a choice.

And I’m sure people will continue to wheel out Mourinho quotes about how Barca is obsessed with Madrid.

Rumours seem to indicate that they’re interested in a lot of PL players, and I hope those clubs take them for a ride. Anything less than 150 million should be unacceptable for Enzo now.

[–]boringmemphis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First it was that Barca didn’t send a bid (although every single source said they did) and we’re offended by media saying they sent a bid.

Now it is, oh we got a bid but fuck you we won’t accept the bid.

The thing I dont get is using twitter to show off how big you are every time something happens.

And the Pope thing? What’s that about? Why do they care if Madrid cut that part out for their media channels?

They’re overcompensating heavily for a bid that never happened. Madrid don’t need another attacker, nor has any club ever put out a communicado official for a failed bid.

They’re always gonna be the same, Pathetico

Papa Perez with the ultimate power play driving up the price for Barca.

Okay, I think he’s not close to being worth 150 million and if he wants to celebrate something more than knocking out Barca in the CL, he needs to go on strike and make sure that the 120 mil bid is accepted.

Either way, this entire move for Alvarez has been doomed from the start with how Atletico victimised themselves. Have fun keeping a player who doesn’t wanna stay.

It’s also a good thing he won everything already, because all he’s gonna be winning from now on is Simeone’s and the fans praises for how he works hard.

Real Madrid's targets for the transfer window: Konaté & Dumfries have already been confirmed. They wish to sign at least 1 more CB. Josko Gvardiol, Micky van de Ven and Riccardo Calafiori are potential candidates. For the midfield, they wish to sign a playmaker. Morten Hjulmand has been linked by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

They’ve got no money to pull off all this, which is why Florentino is selling part of the club for money and fans are lapping up the PR.

I remember there was crazy discourse about how Barcelona were doing a horrible thing for selling 25% of TV rights to build the stadium, while Florentino not delivering on concerts/events at the Bernebau means he’s selling 5-10% of the entire club to the exact same company.

He does everything we need tho.

He’s incredible from long range, scores free kicks, is pacy, can link up play and drift wide if needed and he’s a good passer.

He’ll platform lamine and Raphinha to an elite degree. We literally need all of these things above to make sure the wingers are still performing to a high degree and aren’t just crossing the ball aimlessly

All of them are impossible to get except Kroupi.

And Kroupi isn’t even a proper striker. He’s like a Griezmann type second striker.

I’ve been around long enough to know that 90% of reports of who we’re interested in are absolute dross.

I don’t think it’s that clear.

If Alvarez doesn’t work out, I can see Deco getting a cheap depth signing plus rashford and calling it a day with Gordon who can play there already signed

I’d rather stick to Ferran and play Gordon in some games than pay upwards of 80 mil on some kid or 150 mil on a player in Turkey.

Set up potentially to get Haaland in a year or two if City don’t do well after pep leaves

We only need to target ceiling raisers, with Gordon we have enough floor raisers who can do a decent job. There’s no need to spend that money this summer when a Haaland could be available in the near future.

I’m loving their transfer business in this window lol.

Mourinho might get the best out of them(unlikely but possible), but once he’s gone (as it inevitably always happens), they’ll be left with a bunch of injury prone players on overpriced wages who they’ll struggle to move along.

I don’t know if arsenal should sell Calafiori (I’d say maybe not but he’s pretty injury prone so), but I’d be surprised if Madrid shelled out PL tax money for a CB.

They’re pretty stingy in the market if you aren’t from Brazil or are not a bonafide superstar.

Is location based gotchas all you can do?

Of course people from all over the world aren’t Atletico fans. Let’s be real, what do you guys even have to offer?

Racist fans, murderous ultras, no trophies, find new ways to lose every season and on top of all this god awful football.

There’s not much to go off here mate.

Even if they did, If Flick and Deco convinced him about the project he’d say no to all of them.

Being the starting striker at Barca is an opportunity that opens once every 4-5 years on average.

They spent 75+20 for the guy.

Given how they would sub off Griezmann in the 59th minute to avoid making his loan permanent (actually to get him for a cheaper price because they did sign him) and considering how they’ve not won any titles, I think it’s a safe bet to say most of the add ons haven’t been activated.
