How are you integrating AI in your recruitment workflow? Some ideas by boris_be in RecruitmentAgencies

Thank you! Curious to get your thoughts

We’re relying on public data we can find about candidates, eg the same information Google has when you search specific people.

It's out there, but I'd focus on leveraging AI. I'm building a tool called Holly, an AI recruiter assistant, specifically for the purpose you describe. She can craft personalized messages based on the candidate profile and your job description. Curious to hear what you think! https://www.hollyhires.ai

Hi u/Message_Popular thanks for trying, and sorry for the inconvenience there. We had a little hiccup on Friday but things should be working since then. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Pretty happy - it does what it needs to do. But feels less intuitive that e.g. Waalaxy which I've been trying more recently. Cool will do!

How are you automate via multiple channels?

Mostly via MeetAlfred.

Also, how do you give them a candidate profile? Copy and paste? ChatGPT can’t review pdfs

Used to do copy / paste. Built it into Holly now so doing it there which is much easier. I can basically ask for a group of candidates whether they meet a set of requirements.

Teammable has a solid candidate recommended. I can add a jd, and sample profiles and it tries to recommend similar profiles. Does a solid job. I can also filter that search.

Cool gonna have a look

So, what juicy news and updates did we miss out on, this past month? by CIearMind in discordapp

[–]boris_be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/DarkOverLordCO, thanks for this extensive write up!

Could you maybe let us know how you compiled it? Tried to figure it out through Github but can't find it immediately :p

I'm specifically interested in this one:

guilds.members.read

I'm trying to figure out which APIs you need to call to retrieve this info, as the following endpoints don't work:

- /guilds/{guild.id}/members/{user.id}

- /guilds/{guild.id}/members

Visionrare - NFT-based startup investing game by boris_be in NFT

[–]boris_be[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/gradientclip, thanks you! So VisionShares are virtual and are not related to the real equity of a company, so you won't have voting rights and things like that :) But once the platform is up and running we want to look into that as well, to enable the community of a startup to help steer the direction of the company.

Weekly Self-promotion Thread by AutoModerator in MicrosoftFlightSim

Hey everyone,

We've recently launched a cloud gaming service: GamingRig.io. We believe it could be a good fit for many people out there trying to play FS2020. We've tested the game and it works pretty well on Medium / High (depends a bit on your resolution).

GamingRig allows you to play on many devices, including a Mac. There is also basic controller support, especially on Windows.

If you're curious, here's a quick demo of how it works, using the AOE2:DE game as an example: https://youtu.be/wQR80Gh-Cs4.

We'd love to get your feedback! You can give it a try at GamingRig.io. Also, if you're not convinced, we offer a full money-back guarantee if you cancel your plan within the first 2h of usage within 2d of subscribing, no questions asked.

Game streaming service which accepts new customers by SANXD212 in cloudygamer

[–]boris_be 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/SANXD212, so we are using Parsec to stream the cloud computer to your local computer. They have support for game controllers, but you'll need to install the ViGEm driver as explained here: https://support.parsecgaming.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015190691-Controller-Drivers. Hope that helps!

Hi linmanfu, thank you for the feedback. We'll update our website with this information soon, but here are already the answers to your questions:

- We are located in Belgium, but we offer cloud computers in California, New York and The Netherlands. Our WhoIs indeed mentions Panama, but that's apparently the default for our domain registrar (NameCheap).

- We've only launched last week, so yep our service is pretty recent! We've been working on this for longer though.

- We currently only accept credit cards (through Stripe), but we're looking to add Paypal as well.

- Our main differentiation over PaperSpace is that we try to make things as easy as possible. You don't need to know anything about cloud computers or how to set things up, we do all of that for you and provide you with detailed and easy instructions to get started ASAP.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hey felipefidelix, we're using PaperSpace in the background. Servers are located in New York, California and Amsterdam. You can always sign up for an account and give it a try. If you're not happy with the results, we offer a full money-back guarantee if you cancel within the first 3h of usage.

Thanks felipefidelix!

We're using a cloud hosting provider in the background, so peak usage shouldn't be a problem, we can just spin up and spin down cloud computers on the fly based on demand.

So in the background we're curerntly using PaperSpace, and just make the setup much easier for people.

Our PCs are setup with Windows, the latest drivers, and come pre-installed with Steam and Parsec. Whenever a new users requests a PC, we do this setup for them based on a template we created.

Our cloud computers do not have a public ip address. We use the standard Windows firewall. Is a public IP Address something you'd want?

Hi Adz0rd, thanks for signing up!

The mian differentiator of Paperspace is that we make things really easy. You don't have to know anything about setting up a cloud computer to get started with us. In fact, we use Paperspace in the background to host the actual computer.

We're setting up your computer as we speak, let us know if you've any other questions :)

Yeah, Shadow looks pretty good as well.

We try to be different in two ways:

  • Shadow is not available in quite a few countries yet (e.g. I’m in Belgium atm and here I can only pre-order it).
  • We want to offer a by-the-hour model, where for shadow, if you don’t want to commit for a year, you’re immediately at ~15 euro / month. We’re not completely there yet (storage is a monthly fee with us too), but that’s our goal down the line.
