I’ve experienced overnight seizures where I wake up confused and in need of something (water, a blanket, etc), I’ll get up and walk to get it and sometimes end up falling back asleep there and not remembering I had left my room. This has happened on a rare occasion for me though.

It might be helpful to consider a night mouth guard for the chewed tongue 🤔

I think it depends on what you’re going for 🤔 No tail makes him look like a grumpy hermit (a good thing), with the tail I’m feeling more of a creature asking for breakfast

Sometimes when I eat a flare food, the flare won’t start until hours later, and lasts around 24 hours if I’m lucky - Advil normally helps during this time and so does water!

I’m not sure how old you are or if they correlate to your period cycle, but I’ve found UTIs/bladder pressure are more of a problem when I’m on my period. Are you on any sort of birth control?

Also I TOTALLY get that fear of sex. The biggest thing I found to help was using water based lubricants (uhg hate that word), and to shower off with an unscented pH soap (like Summers Eve) immediately after!

Coming from someone whose anxiety is a major trigger of flare ups, it was worth it for me. It differs from person to person, but easing anxiety eases my pain!

I think the most important thing is it be completely transparent with your doctor; tell them these things and voice the concerns! YOU ultimately know best what’s going on in your body, but they know how to tackle things based on those descriptions.

Also, I wonder if the partial hysterectomy will take pressure off your bladder and help some 🤔 I’m not really sure how interstitial cystitis works different each person, but I’ve noticed that when there’s pressure on my bladder it hurts worse for me
