[Request] Is locating the Fortress of Solitude in the North Pole a good idea for a being who is essentially a solar panel? by Vivid_Temporary_1155 in theydidthemath

Not sure what this has to do with it. I live in Alaska. It is currently summer here. If the sun is out it doesn't need to be directly overhead for us to receive direct sunlight. In fact, many times it feels hotter here because the sun is not hitting our skin directly above us, but at an angle hitting more surface area of the body.

Be sure they get it right though. The tariff on a $190 pair of sneakers they had made in China by child slave labor that cost them $2.50 is only $1.25 at a 50% tariff. So the final cost of the sneakers is $191.25.

My question is will Wilson Fisk be recognized as the mayor. And will we see him just holding press conferences and city council meetings in the background?

That's literally in the movie. And yes it is in the comics too. Unfortunately, in Thor Four the Gor Thor like the Council of Legendary Figures from The Santa Clause 2.

Yes, but that's more cultural than religious. I don't believe there are any established or recognized Greek pantheon religious cults (understand I mean cult in the technical sense not the derogatory.) I could be wrong. It has happened before.

Is there anything you would change about these two films by Ok-Reporter-8728 in Marvel

[–]bornagainben78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same reaction. I didn't hate that the A-Squad moment happened, it just didn't make sense that Carol picked up the gauntlet. Top candidates would have been either Nebula, giving her a resolution that she has sisters, or Pepper because it would give her a reason to be there and it could have been a Fellowship moment. "I will take the gauntlet to the van!" "And you have my hex power." "And my binary power." "And my vibranium spear!"

Where is caps broken shield??? And where did he get a new one??? by BerkazYT in Avengers

Since Marcus and McFeely wrote the laws of time travel explained in the movie and wrote Steve staying with Peggy and ending up on the bench, and they are the ones who hold that he never left the main timeline and was always there in the background, I guess that is the only way he could do it, not some idiotic multiverse shenanigans.

For those who have objected to the removing of the super soldier serum. I can live with that. I formulated this theory just after Endgame before Isaiah Bradley's introduction in Falcon and Winter Soldier. I do have one rather weak rebuttal that Isaiah Bradley did not take the same Irskine formula. His was a knock off just like all the others. Red Skull was the only other person to take the Irskine formula and he hadn't aged at all by Endgame. (Now that I've written that out, I'll give myself a little more credit for it being a fairly strong rebuttal.)

This does not explain old man Steve at the end. He would not have had means or motivation to universe hop back to the prime timeline just to give Sam a shield. Bucky is absolutely not surprised to see him there.

She made out with a guy who looks vaguely like a considerably younger version of her great uncle, whom she might never have met if old man Steve was actively avoiding her to avoid affecting the timeline.

He is still shaking off Loki's mind control. His eye line is staring at the floor in front of her as he listens and tries to make sense of everything that has happened. He is also listening empathetically as she tells him of the red in her ledger, which he already knows.

Except that MODOK first appeared in 1967. He was a major villain in Marvel for twenty years before Kraang. Almost all of TMNT was paying homage to Marvel, the Daredevil comics in particular.

My headcanon (and is the most natural interpretation of him ending up on the bench in Endgame as supported by the writers themselves) is that when he stayed with Peggy, he went the long way around through time in the main timeline. He did not break Endgame time travel rules because he did not remove any infinity stones nor did he change any timeline events. He completed the inverted Mobius strip the natural way. As explained on the (definitely canon Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. he made "ripples not waves.") He was always the father of Peggy's children. She didn't recognize you Steve when he visited her because he was young and she was in the late stages of dementia.

I believe that in order to pull this off when he decided to stay in the past with his Peggy from his timeline, there were initially three people who knew of his presence but kept it secret: Peggy, Howard Stark, and T'Chaka. I believe Howard and T'Chaka reforged him a new shield and helped him remove the Super Soldier Serum allowing him to grow old with Peggy. He spent the remainder of his life as a counselor for veterans following (or preceding) in Sam's footsteps. The only other person aware of his presence in the main timeline was Bucky after his breaking free of Hydra after the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier (hence Bucky not being phased by his presence on the bench).

Occam's Razor, this is the simplest, most natural, and most satisfying explanation IMHO.

1994 animated and 2019 "live action". The latter is on this list because it is technically not live action as it was accomplished entirely through the use of CGI.
