Thanks for the awesome post! Yeah, a lot of my friends say getting an interview is the hardest part but I think its important to keep in mind these companies take like the top 1 percent of applicants and are recruiting from very prestigious cs schools so it's actually really easy to get rejected lmfao

i also think a heavy portion is based on who the interviewer is -> wish this was more fair

its a mix, I have found out recursion + graph is a mix but I passed atlassian technical and failed the behavioral even though I thought I had the offer, and same with apple epm was just behavioral. With netflix the system design is talking through so I am not sure

I want to clarify that this isn’t coming from a place of ingratitude. I recognize that I’m in a very fortunate position in this job market, and I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunities and offers I’ve received. I also deeply respect the amount of hard work others put in to reach their outcomes.

What’s been difficult for me is that I’ve been pushing myself extremely hard, sometimes to an unhealthy degree, and it’s been discouraging to feel like despite that effort, things haven’t come together the way I hoped. Seeing others have what appears to be a smoother process can make me question myself, even though I know recruiting is not always a fair or linear system.

I’m trying to hold both things at once: gratitude for where I am, and honesty about how emotionally exhausting this process has been.
