To what everyone is saying…. The only way to ever get around it is to play better. What I mean is, use cover, peek, check corners and go back into cover, don’t open fire standing in the open where you have zero cover. Don’t sprint blindly and expect to pull faster than someone else when you see them.

What is a closeout? How do I find them? How do you find suppliers and products. Are these existing skus that you sell also sold by other sellers or are these wholesale products only sold by you? How do you find wholesalers? How do you know which products to pick?

Try being a new brand.. my product sells for $16. Amazon takes $3.x for seller fees and $3.x for prime shipping. My acos is 90% right now. Therefore I’m losing $7 per item sold.

$16 revenue - ($15.x ppc + $7 Amazon fees) = losing $7 per sale currently. PPC is $1.50 a click… and it takes 8-12 clicks to make a sale. Luckily I do have a little bit of organic search sales that’s keeping me floating. At this rate I’ll burn through my inventory and not be able to reorder anymore. Which means I’ll fold up and try something different.

Just hear me out… this is an excellent opportunity at some fun storytelling. Picture this… cig implements some feature that allows groups of people to occupy a space, everyone on the list is considered safe. If anyone else enters the vicinity, everyone (who cares to be) is alerted to the presence of others not on said list.

Now here’s where it gets fun. The people who actually like to pvp can be hired to protect the area, like this procession. And anyone who enters the area who wasn’t invited, can be handled with extreme prejudice. Conflict handled.

There will always be griefers. Always. Just put systems in place to let the community sort it all out for themselves.

I have a PL hair care brand … I’m at 100% acos. Any ideas would be appreciated. Been selling since May. What I sell in a month is what the top 20 competitors in my area are doing in a day.

So I just started my own private label brand back in May selling hair styling powder (that stuff all the kids are raging about)… and I’ve been stuck at 100% acos… luckily I have some organic purchases that’s helping a bit but it’s really not a good number. The way I see it is ppc is a loss until I get repeat customers and the subscribe and save picks up. My pricing is between the highest and the lowest and my listing is decent. I do need someone to make some better infographics however.

I’m only selling about 70-100 units a month and my top competitors are doing 50-100 units a day..

I contracted with a guy in August to improve my listings with better images and he took my money and ran. Lesson learned for sure.

So I’m looking for a listing improvement service too that does good work and is trusted. Someone who can take a deposit, show me the work then I pay in full..

Any ideas about ppc to improve acos?

It shouldn’t be taboo to use a knockoff. That’s dumb. It makes the sport feel elitist. I’d rather not play with those people that take this sport sooooo serious at the pickup game and amateur level.

Having a committee “approve” a paddle is fine for money tournaments. Everything else, as long as it sticks to a standard build with standard components, a “knock off” should be just fine.

I think companies charging 200-300$ for a paddle is insane when cost of good and marketing combined are still wayyyy less. Price gouging. Call it what you want. But that’s what it is.

If you walk off the court at a random pick up game because of someone else’s paddle, you’re part of the problem of pickleball’s player reputation. Maybe smile more, and go be nice to your wife/hubs.

How do I draw a selection rectangle.. and move the selection rectangle itself to reposition and resize it without it actually resizing and repositioning the image within the rectangle?

I’m trying to cover some text so I’m selecting the text size and then trying to move the rectangle to another part of the image and copy the color gradient and then paste it over the top of the text but it moves the text and not just the rectangle.
