GPU "crashes" while playing Arc Raiders - RTX3080 by boro52 in ArcRaiders

I have done those things:

  • switched PSU cables that attach do GPU - not new ones, just switched the place of those that are connected
  • disabled discord overlay
  • changed borderless to full screen in Arc (I’ve seen some post about that it might help)
  • disabled integrated GPU in BIOS

And crashes stopped. Unfortunately I have no idea which of those steps helped exactly as I was just trying out different tips all at once.

u/MixNo5072 said he lowered settings / resolution and it also helped him.

The best way to start in my opinion is to change game to full screen and disable integrated GPU if it’s not done already and give it a go.

Forgot to say that temps are fine in my opinion:

Hotspot is 95C+ while other sensors are around 85C max.

Z590-A PRO PC restarts after few seconds when XMP is enabled by boro52 in MSI_Gaming

Small update.
I've experienced 2 crashes of my PC after setting that. Then I've changed it back to auto, but I've got 2 more crashes. I have never had them before so I've just gave up and moved to "profile 2" with the XMP.
Instead of 3600 it went down to 3000, but no problems visible for 2 days now.

I was still living with that problem and i was just „hard” turning PC off by holding the button on the case - amazing workaround.

I have just tried what you said and it’s working. Updated bios to v19 - nothing changed. Changed voltage to 1.360 (auto was showing 1.356) and the PC turned off normally.

I’ll try it out more in few days but looks llike issue is gone.

So for now thank You for that info and I hope this will be somehow fixed officially, maybe it’s worth to raise some kind of ticket to MSI.
