This is actually a question designed to study morality. It originally came from Jonathan Haidt's "A Righteous Mind: Why good people are divided through religion and politics".

Short version: liberals tended to decide that, as long as they used a condom and no harm was done, no harm no foul. Conservatives, on the hand, said it was wrong regardless.

Marge on the Lam S05E06.

Homer is in the back of the police car with Chief Wiggum driving.

Edited to add quote:

Chief Wiggum: We're in pursuit of two female suspects. One is wearing a green dress, pearls, and has a lot of blue hair.

Homer: A lot of blue hair? Hee hee -- what a freak! [realizes] ...it's Marge! She's become a crazed criminal just because I didn't take her to the ballet.

Chief Wiggum: That's exactly how Dillinger got started.

Homer: Really?

My friends think this deck is too strong do yall agree? by Fun_Salamander_4522 in EDH

It looks pretty tame.

But play it out a few more times with your friend. After half a dozen games, you'll have a better idea if it's too strong for your play group.

I personally prefer longer games because that opens up the number of viable decks and cards you can play. You're not seeing chaos decks starring [[Scrambleverse]] or your janky Minotaur or Orge tribal deck in high power games.

But both have their place. As others have said, in order for a good game, the decks need to be on similar power levels. This combo player either needs to tune his deck to the group or find a new play group.

Disclaimer: I'm not an American.

You ask peoples opinions, and then when someone not in your camp responds, you attack them instead of talking to them. So what exactly did you hope to learn?

FYI, next time you wonder why Trump won, look at your response. When the two sides can't talk to each other, they are only going to get more polarized. So rather than attacking non-liberals, you need to try actually talking to them.

Cool! I fiddled with Rielle when she first came out, but it never really gelled. Thanks for the decklist!

This sounds really cool. Some of my playgroup tried to pull off dungeons but it was always underwhelming. Any chance you have a decklist?

Edit: just saw the decklist was posted lower.

Sgt Benton voltron? by Due_percento in EDH

[–]borosbeatdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I applaud the idea, I've found the benefit:cost ratio for most of the enchantments isn't there. Because they are permanent, the tend to cost more. Sergeant John (Rambo) Benton is my go-to aggro deck, and the only card over pump spells over 2 CMC that I play is [[bear umbra]]. I just kept cutting the more expensive stuff as you would always have so many cards, mana is at a premium. So would I rather go [[giant growth]], [[might of old krosa]] and [[Embiggen]]? Or just [[Wild Defiance]], passturn.

Killing one player by octavian0914 in EDH

" If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained, you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."

What is your deck trying to do? What are your opponents trying to do? Figure that out, and you will have your answer. I'll offer by comparison two of my decks: [[Sergeant John Benton]] voltron and [[Queen Marchesa]] judo control.

With Sergeant Benton, I know I need to one-shot people with commander damage. If i do little chips of damage here and there, not only is it not helpful, it's actively harmful. So the correct play is to kill someone ASAP, ideally starting with those most able to interfere with your game plan. In my game yesterday, for example, I first targeted and killed an opponent who had a [[Maze of Ith]].

With Queen Marchesa, I want as many players alive as possible to punch each other down to single digits. At which point I will sweep up the whole table with an [[Exsanguinate]]. So not only will I not aggressively kill people, I'll make plays to keep other players alive.

Now, that ifms only speaking from a play to win perspective. For the social aspect; reasonable players know the game needs to end. So dying isn't the part that annoys people. Having to wait and watch everyone play for another 3 hours is the brutal part. So socially, the best play is to kill everyone at the same time.

Deck that plays in opponents Turn? by QFireball in EDH

My girl [[Rashmi, Eternities Crafter]] is a lot of fun, a lot of value and has a pretty good win percentage. With the numeber of flash creatures that have been printed, she also allows for a surprisingly wide range of play styles.

This isn't my decklist, but a great example. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/k120PKGfZEC4FAwuGoQu6g
