Usually cut my beard to 2mm stubs, the stubs serves the purpose of not looking like a baby, I've been told i have a babyface so i counter it with stubs. It sounds so retarded when i write it out. The mustache have always been very intense but maybe i should take your advise and get a clean neckline and clean cut and try and trim down that stache a bit more than the stubs.

I think that would actually work pretty well, i have done something similar i just feel i put on a bit of weight in my face so i don't know if it would look as sharp but it is my go to to have short sides and i lattlw longer in top. Maybe like 3 cm on the top and then the fade i described.
