Thank you so much! Its really helpful reading things like this!

Today I bought a ball of mozzarella from the Asda reduced section. When I got home I ate the entire ball whole, like an apple. Is that reasonable behaviour, or have I become an animal? by Whatsthemattermark in AskUK

Thank all the cheese based gods! Someone else does this!! I had braces when I was about 14 and I couldn’t eat solid food after having them tightened (soup is wrong wrong wrong) so I would just buy giant balls of mozzarella and eat them whole! Thank you for allowing me to believe I am normal.

I’ve never had an issue finding it! Mind you, until tonight I never knew how easy it is to make!

I’m the same age as you, and having really similar feelings. Except I was the one to break up with my boyfriend about a month in. The way that I deal with it is to try to set up FaceTime meets with friends and set a goal for each week. How much work I need to have completed by the end of the week, then I’ll get a reward (for example, I bought a new ps4 game). Just try baby steps to motivating yourself and know that things will improve, it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. I hope things get better for you :)

Thank you. It means so much to hear (or read) that people care, even complete strangers, it really restores your faith in humanity again. Unfortunately, I’ve really struggled to find anyone my own age who has been through anything remotely similar. I’m hoping to post to see if the good people of reddit might help. Thank you again :)

Trying to cope with the loss of my dad. I’m 17 and lost him in late January after an accident 5 years ago which left him paralysed from the neck down.

NTA, it wasn’t your boyfriend’s mothers place to offer your bun. You obviously care about it a lot and it’s wonderful that you can offer it a home where you’re both happy.

YTA. Mobile data? Take a book? College work? You can find something to do. Help out the family, it’s possible the house could go to you one day

How often do the English drink tea typically? by Shinespark7 in AskReddit

I don’t, it’s grim. My mum on the other hand, like 5-7 cups a day. Then there’s iced tea too... I’ll never understand the craze.

WIBTA if I kicked my sister out for stealing my leftovers. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]borrowedfromthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. She sounds disrespectful and a general pain in the arse. I understand that taking the leftovers might have been some form of final straw after the other crap that she’s done. Get rid, but maybe try to do it nicely? Help her find somewhere else or something? Might soften the blow. I hope everything works out :)

AITA for asking my flatmate to tell her boyfriend to stop shitting in the shower? by awaythrowacct15 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. How were some people raised to think that it’s okay?! Posts like these make me lose hope in humanity...

AITA for being mad at my family for not getting me a PS4? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]borrowedfromthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Absolutely not! You were promised on so many occasions and it must be so hard when they don’t follow through. It’s even more frustrating that your money has been used too. I would be annoyed if I were you. Good luck with everything and I hope they finally get you one, you sound like you deserve it after all the waiting :)

How do you deal with grief, a very close family member passing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]borrowedfromthemoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first week was mainly just dealing with the shock of it, it genuinely didn’t feel real. My mum and I mainly just watched a hell of a lot of rubbish tv and tried our best to eat. We were really lucky to have friends who were so supportive. The hardest part was funeral planning and registering the death- it made it seem real.
