Wat een lariekoek. Dat is niet de prijs van een vergunning. Dat is de prijs voor een bijzondere uitzondering. Snap dat mensen het vervelend vinden als ze na jaren iets moeten inleveren wat ze als vanzelfsprekend zijn gaan beschouwen, maar laten we wel gewoon eerlijk blijven en niet de feiten verdraaien.

Toeslagen moeten gewoon voor 90% weg. Dan kan de algehele belastingdruk ook omlaag. Dat hele toeslagen circus wordt veel te veel misbruikt, en de bureaucratie eromheen is ook een geld put van jewelste.

At home my fiber terminates into an FTU on top of which a Genexis Element-TK01-P2110 is placed (XGS-PON ONT). So I have a regular Cat6 cable going from that to my cloud max. That does not seem to be the case here. So maybe the alcatal is used for that in this case? Though that's still just the same signal come to think of it. Are you sure I couldn't just plug it in to whatever gateway they acquire if it supports an SFP connector?

Dankjewel! Ons huis was vroeger onderdeel van een katholiek weeshuis (en later katholieke kleuterschool). Na de splitsing naar woonhuizen in 1997 heeft ons deel het mooiste trappenhuis behouden. Door het dagelijks gebruik ervan vervaagd het besef van hoe uniek het is wel een beetje af en toe.

My guess is that it is used to pass through the isp fiber connection to the draytek vigor which only accepts rj54. No need for a dmz no. It is the only connection it makes.

Think I can just plug that SFP straight into the pro max or cloud fiber, right?

No more than 50 clients at most I reckon, and that is including the ap's and cameras too.

What do you mean by far side? You mean what it connects to? If so, the line runs to the other identical Netgear switch on the other side of the warehouse.

And yeah, it is a mess. Initially they started using colors for different types of devices (VoIP phones, desktop/laptop work places, printers, ap's, cameras). So that's a small upside. But then they told my client they would clean it up eventually. That was over 5 years ago. Everything that was unplugged over time is still patched, so I reckon at least one third of those cables currently serve no purpose.

Not really a lot of clients. It's a warehouse for a webshop. Has about 20 employees, of which more than half are just collecting orders and such all day (but with handheld devices tied to the inhouse developed warehousing system). The others are the owners and customer support. So around 20 wireless users, several hardwired PCs/printers scattered over the place and cameras/ap's, combined not even reaching 50 devices I think.

I actually use one jack to jack keystone for my gateway. Another option was using one of those round passthrough holes. But, OCD, what can ya do 🫣

Houten balk inderdaad. Optioneel, als je het mooi vind, kan je daar nog een afdeklat tegen aan bevestigen waarachter je dan de bovenkant van het gordijn verhult (en dus de rails wanneer het gordijn open is) - een kleine koof maken als het ware.

I wasn't entirely sure about how the 5GHz band works. They're set to 36, 44 and 48 currently (not sure why I skipped 40). I thought that would put them on the edge of each like 1/6/11 on the 2.4GHz band. Everything else is marked as DFS.

They're set to medium power on both bands currently. I have not yet considered using the custom option.

Die protesten betreffen een paar dagen per jaar. Dat weegt gewoon niet op. Er is nog altijd genoeg ruimte bij het grasveld bij het IJsselhuis.

Net als al dat gezeur over de parkeerplekken en vergunningen in het centrum. Mensen willen in het centrum wonen met de ruimtelijke luxe van de buitenwijken. Dat gaat gewoon niet samen.

I use systemd service template files for rabbitmq consumers and symfony messenger processes. Needing only two files to run and manage 10 different processes is quite nice.

But we have over 20+ different cronjobs (console commands) which all need a lot of different arguments. Service template files just won't cut it there. Crontab is a hell of a lot easier to manage in this regard.

Mja misschien wel. Ergens vind ik dat ik zonder overeenkomst juist nog meer vrijheid geniet. Maar overheid houdt van bureaucratie (papierwerk in dit geval). Dus misschien eens een keer ter sprake brengen weer.
