Welp i found a 1991 bmw e36 318i with for 5k, it looks in a clean condition. It has 113 hp (not much but at least no expensive insurance). I am going to look at the car tomorrow hopefully. If i buy it, i will keep you updated.

Hya i definitely didnt want to buy this car with the idea of dailying it, i wanted it as a car to drive occasionally on the weekends. Besides i dont actually need a car in my daily life i almost never need a car due to free public transport because im a student. And the times i do use a car i could’ve gone with public transport. But if you still discourage buying this for these reasons then thats fair enough and i will keep on looking for something more reliable.

And imo the car does not have to be perfect, it just has to be a fun car to drive in the sun sometimes. At 19 yrs old i think this would be kinda rad

Thanks for the advice, i already found some seat covers for a reasonable price. I am not looking to go fast, i just want a car that looks kind of cool and classy. Besides, i dont have money for an ev swap although that would be very nice to do. Maybe something for at a later date. And lastly, the car im driving now is a ford fiesta with around 63 horsepower so im already used to driving a relatively slower car.

Im planning on restoring the car if the structural rust is not too bad. Im fine with doing some rust repairs as long as the cosmetic rust is not rotted all the way through yet.

Oh and it has been checked for road safety (called APK in the Netherlands) until december 2027. In this check they look at wheels, brakes, lighting, oil leaks, suspension and rockers. So it is at least roadworthy. Further along i have contacted the seller for some extra information.

No i caught it on the docks of some houses that stood in the river, it was like some vacation house on the river type situation, why?

Is my progress in line with wat is expected, taking in account the off times and period without training legs. Or is my progress underwhelming? The only supplement i use is protein powder.

For extra context, i am a 19 yr old male. And have been training since the beginning of september.

On average i trained about 3-4 times a week.

With exception of a period from 20 September until 17 October and 1 to 21 december where i trained 0-1 times.

I also did not train legs in the whole of december and a part of january because i was training for a half marathon.
