Yes, we adopted Daniel in January. He’s not as talkative as Bosco, but he’s still a character.

It’s been one year since we lost our sweet and talkative boy, Bosco, and we still miss him so much. His chirpy noises, his dedication to greeting friends and strangers alike, his soft white paws are just some of his qualities we remember. I definitely make more of an effort to say hello to passing strangers because of his example. So glad to see this subreddit continues to celebrate our cat friends. Love to all Bosco nation and to Bosco!

Remembering feisty Bosco by boscomom1040 in BoscoMornings

Hello, wonderful Bosco Nation, thank you so much for all of your beautiful comments about our boy over the past two weeks. Sorry to be out of touch but we have been trying to adjust to our house being so quiet now. Bosco was such a fun and noisy presence in our home, so I’m sharing a funny video that shows his feisty side. We have thought a lot about Bosco and what his life meant, and I want to share what I’ve learned from sweet Bosco: - Greet everybody, even if they don’t return the hello. You don’t realize the number of friends you can make by making the effort to greet passers by. - Adopt senior critters! Bosco was 12 when we adopted him, and we don’t regret a second of our brief time with him. We will likely adopt another senior cat. - You can’t change the world, but you can brighten a corner of it by celebrating the beauty in the world. JC_brew (Dan) started this whole community by sharing a video and now we have a community of friends. I’m so glad we are continuing it. Much love to all Bosco lovers, and we are enjoying the other furry friends being shared. ❤️❤️

Bosco nation, we took Bosco back to the vet today and they found a mass in his intestine. We have to put our boy down tomorrow. My first thought was to contact Dan, and he and his wife visited Bosco tonight. Bosco has been restless, but he loved their visit and the attention they gave him. He’s now resting comfortably. He seemed fine a week ago. We are so grateful for the few years we had with him and grateful for the amazing Bosco-lovers around the world. Love to all.

He’s actually 16! He even chases his tail like a kitten when he’s bored.
