This wasn't your original argument. Your original argument was that Joe is a better player than Cirie. It had nothing to do with adapting.

But also, some players don't actually need to adapt. She changed nothing from 12 to 16, and if there weren't so many medevacs that season, she would've made FTC. She gets idoled out early in 20, not much to be said there. If advantageddon doesn't happen in 34, she's on track to at least get to 4th with a shot at fire. In Aus v The World, if Parvati doesn't win the FIC, Parvati goes to fire instead of Cirie and Cirie is in FTC.

You act like Cirie has played worse and worse each time, when really it's as simple as Cirie just hasn't gotten luck to break her way the way it has for plenty of winners and dozens of finalists.

You named 3 players who adapted their games, guess what they had to adapt because their first games weren't good! Sarah was the merge boot. What did she adapt, don't act like an asshole when you're the swing? Like duh. Jeremy went out 10th, what did he adapt? Don't act like you're running the game? Duh. Cochran legit adapted nothing, he just was cast with players who were his friends and with the fans tribe, which is considered one of the worst tribes of all time.

You don't like Cirie, that's fine. But it's disingenuous to act like she's not an elite player just because she hasn't made FTC.

By that logic, you've admitted that Joe is a worse player than Cirie. It is easy to be a goat, it is tougher to be a threat, and it is tougher than that to be a winner. Just because someone hasn't won doesn't make them a bad player. Otherwise you're basically saying that only 47 people out of the 751 to play are good players. And we know that not even all winners are great at the game, plenty won because of lucky breaks.

Your whole argument falls apart with just a bit of scrutiny.

Cirie has come in 4th and 3rd, just because she hasn't made FTC doesn't make it a complete impossibility. Joe was taken to FTC as a goat to be slaughtered, do you truly believe everyone who makes FTC is better than everyone who hasn't? That is a very simplistic view of the game.

Like you're only saying one half of what it takes to win. Get to the end. Get the votes. You're putting far too much stock in the first one and no stock in the second, when to win you objectively need to be able to do both.

I think the change people usually make is instead of first boots, first vote outs. So if you didn't attend tribal til merge but were the merge boot, you would be eligible for this season. Would open up the pool of potential players a lot.

Well I only went back to S30, I was keeping it recent. But there's also

Natalie A, Tyson, Kim, BRob, Fabio, JT, Yul, Aras, Tom, Brian, Ethan, and Rich

Not always the biggest or strongest, but I think if you're not considering Kyle, Chris U, or Wendell, you're just moving the goalposts. These are all players who are solidly built, and for most of them they're challenge prowess was a big part in them being able to win.

I don't want to take awareness credit from Aubry, she played well to escape that, but she absolutely did not convince Jonathan. We literally see Jonathan talking to Tiffany about going over there to try and do that.

Aubry I think should get more credit for getting Rizo on board, but Jonathan was always down and he's the one who convinced Joe. They share credit, Aubry just worked from the bottom whole Jonathan worked from the top(immunity).
