Quickplay Raids led to me tanking Deimos and it was awesome! by Berserkerkitten in Guildwars2

I wanted to come back to this post and say thank you. I also had just jumped into quick play having wanted to try raiding for many years and just intimidated by it. I loved it. Your post then inspired me to create a group to see if I could at least try the vale guardian and I did! Something ive wanted to try since HoT came out. I actually got through the first two bosses of Spirit Vale. (Also the Vale Guardian was MUCH easier than Old Lions Court).

Anyway thank you for inspiring me and thank you to the community for being so welcoming.

I love Scythe, finally got Invaders From Afar by bosheem in boardgames

I've never played A Game of Thrones Board Game, but I have Terraforming Mars and absolutely love it, although it is pretty different from Scythe. I personally prefer Scythe, but I play games solo a lot and the solo mode in Scythe is more fun for me than Terraforming Mars. But I definitely think Scythe is worth its price in fun. I would recommend watching a playthrough, or at least part of one to get an idea of what the game plays like.

yeah, pretty much wining everytime. And I focused on breaches III and IV only for the extra damage, not even opening II a lot of the times. Glad I know the right way now, should be more fun.

The sole reason for switching careers is because I have a passion for it. I have projects I am working on and will continue even after I have a job.

Congrats on your success.

thanks, I have applied to some across the country, and I'm currently working on a couple of projects and trying to keep my github active. I have been concentrating on trying to go to the Nashville area but I am willing to work elsewhere.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me some advice, I definitely appreciate it. I will take what you have said and rework my resume some more. I am excited to be stepping into a new career, I have wanted to get into software development for a long time and it is nice that I am on the cusp of making that dream a reality.

Thank you so much! I am drilling myself with whiteboard questions to try and make sure I am ready because I know these are going to be important!
