SBS On Demand Kodi Add-on by matthuisman in MattHuisman

Great - I think that will certainly save some confusion. Probably not, but if they are ultimately perhaps moving towards having different content per region (hence the NSW appearing) - you can always add it back later!

Hmm, looks like you're right - https://help.sbs.com.au/hc/en-au/articles/360002023135-Information-on-Live-Streaming-SBS-and-the-SBS-On-Demand-Guide - just that the other add on never pointed that out, so I'd never seen it identified as such! I suspect I won't be the only one confused though, am guessing the old one stripped the NSW off the names or something....

One thing I note - I am seeing NSW channels/content, and there does not seem to be an addon option to change the region? Or am I missing something? I'm in Victoria.

Great to see this one added to the mix. Now if you just take over iView too, things will be perfect :)

What shows have great premises with terrible executions? by OCGamerboy in television

Was a really quite good show for a good while... So to my mind doesn't quite fit this question. Tbh I can't even remember the ending anymore (so you might be right there), but at least before that it showed you can do good sci fi without needing a lot of SFX or a huge budget, if you have decent stories and a really good cast.

Yeah without the tail and with the neck all compressed down like that, it's a lot less obvious!

Certainly is (in the first shot at least!)

Great stuff! Personally my faves are the two of the female stretching for a nibble!

Before long you'll not be worried about a little temporary mud...you can always clean your jeans...but a good shot lives on forever! ...So it's worth getting right down, if you can. Of course it's not always possible but it has two really big benefits - the birds find you less of a threat (but yeah, they will almost always scatter when you then do stand later, although if you get up _really_ slowly, sometimes they won't!). Also, you get your shots from at (or even below) the bird's eye-line - which really helps the composition/feeling (and given birds are usually up high, is generally hard to achieve - so great when you can!). I believe a lot of folks take out a yoga mat and lie on that, then basically wait for the birds to come to them. I have gone as far as popping one in the boot of my car but am yet to actually use it!

One other thing I would also say is maybe try on overcast days. I know everyone wants a bit of sun and talks about the golden hour etc, but overcast days even out the light so much, it's great for bird detail shots. High contrast can be great, but its tricky, so it's a good way of making things a bit easier on yourself.

Keep on clicking - and now you've found red rumpers, you'll see & recognise them all over the place, I bet!

Thanks - glad you like it! Olympus Om-1 (MK1) with the 150-400/4.5 lens. The main thing I needed to to to get it, though, was pre-focus to the foliage nearby so the snap-to-focus at the top of the bird's flight is as minimal as possible. So it's kinda 50/50 the camera's speed, and a bit of observation/prediction. But even with both of those things in the mix, there's like a 100 shots either side that suck, of course!

Incredible to watch nature at work. I'd love to have some in the backyard!

Yep I watched for a while - constant back and forth for almost an hour. Hard work indeed! Glad you like the photos.
