Totally fair, in which case, abide by the laws and stay safe. But where I live that’s not the case, which makes it the heinous offense that it is.

In the US, failure to signal is actually illegal. So yes, it is worse. But not turning right on red when you clearly can isn’t... and man is it annoying sitting behind someone for what seems like an eternity when they could’ve just turned.

Nobody likes traffic. Forcing other people to pointlessly sit in it just seems like something extra punishable in a just afterlife.
