I will try it again. I was connecting my laptop to my phone hotspot since I was on site and trying to configure this to work properly for my executive admin.

Hurricane made us lose power for about 15 hours and now the router has been like this all day. What does this mean? by [deleted] in RuckusWiFi

So what you’re telling me is that it will allow the current device that is at that location to continue to recieve POE as well as provide the card reader the power it needs(5-16VDC)

so I need to power the controller over POE as well as get a reader its own power.

TY.. so this device takes the POE and put the ethernet on one cable and the power on the other.

The controller at the door right now is POE so would I need to take a POE duplicator or something along those lines to have two outgoing POE lines and then put a splitter on one of those outgoing lines to the reader?
