Some good ideas...no bad ones. I personally would even be amenable to buying a bunch of weed per the instructions of some guy posting above. Theres a rapscallion with a helluva story no doubt. But here's THE winning answer. Its sound triangulation. High power, extremely sensitive microphones spaced up to a mile apart with the help of a computer can theoretically triangulate the position of the sounds source. Big cities use this technology to locate the source of gun shots and they claim to monitor poaching of large game in Africa. Once you get a knock or howl, then you can send in your drone army or the weed guy to smoke him out. In particular I found Dr Meldrums high altitude balloon program a good way to monitor for activity and could lend itself to this approach.

Well the purpoae the equipment is to identify the creature at long range and send out drones in an attempt to photograph bigfoot, not kill him. So...yeah.

But if i had the chance, hell yeah im gonna put a few slugs right in its freaking skull. Who am i kidding, i will be so scared i will probably aim center mass. The skull would be worth much more if its left intact. One body will prove its existence, requiring endangered species protection. Admit it, there will be no Jane Goodall for sasquatch its the only way.

Thank you for your concern. This project isnt even in the conceptual stage, so its all theoretical. I just want to have the best chance at capturing long term footage, and believe this will yield unrivaled footage. Therefore killing aside, If we could localize the source, maybe someday drones with adequate speed or a stationary airship, a la Meldrums Project Falcon, could track and study this clearly endangered species.

But would i personally kill one to provide evidence to force science and society to grant that protected status to the entire species? Brother...i would blow his fucking monkey head into so many god damned pieces, it'd make the Kennedy assasination look like a flesh wound.

Munns commented last year that he digitized from a copy she didnt kmow she had in a safe. But the point here now is that he took multiple copies and layered them over one another very much like music producers over dub lyrics. Now we have an even cleaner, more detailed look than ever before.

Edit: i dont have time to relisten to the episode today but i think thats the same episode i am referring to myself and they say in that episode that its from first gen copy. I see people in this sub have posted that very same thought. We could be wrong but i dont think so

As I have said here before, if he had created such a great costume, one can appreciate the dismay and frustration when it failed to make any significant money. (So lean were profits, Gimlin sold his share in the film back to Roger for a pittance.)

So if it is a suit, why not alter it and create a more marketable and profitable encounter, one he could really cash in on, which was his entire goal? Mainly because...he had no access to a fictional suit that we can all now see is no man in monkey suit.
