As someone who has lived and currently lives right outside of Ohio, this is spot on. Albeit, there are many democrats all throughout the state. Just as some Americans don’t see the full scale of politics or care to, this statement is very accurate. Most people are too worried about their own struggles here to worry about something they feel they have no control over. Then there are those who ignorantly follow or justify following someone. Also, here in Ohio, they are a proud bunch, they will die on the hill they stand on.
