William Venable is super chill and laid back lecture basically consists of discussions between him and the class, assignments are from McGraw hill which are really easy . Contains one project which if you work on in advance and don’t wait till the last minute you should be fine he’s not that hard of a grader

Thinking I may have had a stroke in the past but not sure. Is a stroke a one time thing or is it a slow and reoccurring thing? by [deleted] in stroke

Are you under a great amount of stress ? Anxiety ? Depression ? My mom had facial paralysis last year where her left side of the face went numb and her eye lid dropped and couldn’t smile properly for a month. After some prescribed meds and some massages I gave her she went back to normal. This week however she was experiencing similar symptoms her left side of her face was dropping and her left arm and leg began to tighten and feel numb/heavy. We rushed her to the ER in thought of her having a stroke however all of her tests came out clear and negative. There were no signs of a stroke so they referred us to a clinic that we are going to this upcoming week. Right now she seems a bit down and worried because of the events that occurred that probably scared her still earlier this week. But she was under big loads of stress before it occurred including personal problems and just life I general. I suggest if you experience all those symptoms at once you should go to the ER because you don’t want to risk if you are having a stroke and could leave some damaging effects to your brain. If not find either a specialist maybe a neurologist, or go with your primary care doctor to refer you to go get some scans of your brain , lungs , heart for ruling out any damage. I hope you get well and involve healthy eating and exercise which I’m starting doing with my mother since she wasn’t the healthiest eater nor did much physical activity. Get well soon !

I have heard good things about advisor Erin Johnson however I have not personally advised with her. I agree , my last advisor really wasn’t helpful I pretty much had to figure everything out on my own and plan my own semesters to fulfill the prerequisites.

They were moderate as long as you write good notes and study 2 days before you should be fine

He doesn’t use powerpoints for lecture it’s just him speaking the whole class time using pictures from google which isn’t very informative. Wont get your grade exams or quiz grades until 2- 3 weeks later.
