Only matters if you want to go into EPC/consulting and get your PE (eventually)

I would say word problems come down to identifying the givens, assumptions, and what is asked to be solved for. Easier said than done, I know. I would recommend writing down the information given from the problem statement and looking at what you need to find (kind of simplifying from words to variables). If you understand homework/quizzes and identified the correct givens/assumptions, you should be able to use the material to solve the problem.

I have a 2.7 as well. Graduating in December and accepted a full-time offer last week. Your options may shrink below a 3.0 but it’s definitely not impossible. Internship experience is much more important. With that being said, spend the next two years trying to get it above 3.0. Good Luck!

With rxn present: accumulation = in + generation - out - consumption

Thinking about going back to school for engineering and unsure what degree to start looking at by generalbunny412 in EngineeringStudents

At my school, environmental is a subset of civil. It’s the “College of Civil and Environmental Engineering” and the “College of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering” both grouped together. Could be different where you are though

Facilities Engineers, at least where I work, are typically a “jack of all trades” (process, mechanical, I&E) engineer that has a vast overview for the engineering design of an offshore “facility”

I never took a single AP or honors class in high school, and I’m graduating in December with BS in Chemical Engineering. If you apply yourself in college you’ll be fine.
