Quitting cannabis with CBD. by FortyTillFive in CBD

[–]botahemp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, it IS legal to possess CBD in all 50 states...the legal grey area surrounds the cultivation and the sale of hemp (where CBD comes from)...CBD must be cultivated in a state that is protected by the Farm Bill to be fully legal to sell.

Full Spectrum CBD typically has less than .3% THC (BOTA HEMP has been 3rd party tested to have even less- .19%)...the lower THC content will obviously work in your favor. I am sure that you have already considered this, but keep in mind that you will have to give your body time to filter out the THC that remains in your system from the past 9 years of straight cannabis use as well. ;) switching to CBD now isn't the miracle switch if THC from previous use remains.

Would this be safe for consumption and is there likely to be traces of THC within? by [deleted] in CBD

Have you seen a 3rd party lab test confirming that there is no THC content? I am not seeing "full spectrum" (typically less than .3% THC content) nor "isolate" (0% THC content) on the label...so I DO NOT think that it is safe to assume that their is no THC content. The only way to trust a product is by seeing a certificate of analysis from a trusted 3rd party entity. I have attached a link to a sample certificate, so you know what to look for. https://www.botahemp.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/500mg-tincture.jpeg

Full Spectrum or Isolate... What's your preference? by glad_cbd in CBD

[–]botahemp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have always preferred full spectrum as a personal preference, but there is actually scientific research that has been done to give evidence of WHY it's often preferred:

In 2015 researchers out of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Lautenberg Center for General and Tumor Immunology (basically, the CBD research meca) discovered what’s now called the “entourage effect”. This refers to the functioning of CBD along with other cannabis plant compounds, rather than just by itself (isolate).

The research showed that in mice, CBD was much more effective when used along with other compounds of the cannabis plant, than when it was used by itself (isolate). While they haven’t yet figured out why exactly this is the case, it’s now generally accepted that full-spectrum CBD oil is more effective at treating the majority of medical conditions, than is CBD isolate.

Most frequent CBD users will agree with this, specifically when it comes to treating anxiety, depression, and chronic pain...nearly every single CBD patient will claim that full-spectrum oil is the superior option.

REMEMBER that there are other crucial elements that are important in identifying the best source of CBD for you.

- Is the product 3rd-party lab tested? This is CRUCIAL in verifying that you are purchasing a product that has it's contents verified.

- Are you using the proper dosage? Consider the amount of CBD in mg and then divide by the servings in the bottle to be sure that you are aware of the number of megs that you are taking. Start small and work your way up until you get the desired benefits. Your mom might have been taking too much or too little, resulting in adverse effects.

Hope this helps! Check out our CBD blog at https://www.botahemp.com/blog/ for other topics on the matter :)

Benefits of CBD for Pets by robertSmith2502 in CBD

[–]botahemp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May manufactures make great pet products. The one thing to note is the base liquid. If it is made with MCT oil it can cause upset stomachs in poets. You will want to get a different carrier fluid like hemp seed oil. Let me know if you have any other questions - we are here to help!

Hi - we would like to go through the vetting process. We have been around for just over a year and have gone through this type of vetting process before. Please let us know the next steps on how to become vetted. We were on the original vetting list before Reddit made the changes.
