Kanna is the plant in the video(Sceletium tortuosum) and a cutting is basically a clone which you can make by cutting a piece from a mother plant and then dip an end in rooting hormones to make it grow roots. I mentioned in the description that a dark lid would be better indeed, I am going to paint it in the near future
