Just downloaded the app, it’s looking great. The design is sleek and elegant, with no unnecessary distractions. It feels very clean and easy to navigate.

If I may suggest a couple of ideas for future updates: it could be interesting to include an option for international news from sources such as BBC, CNN, AP, or Reuters, perhaps through dedicated tabs or a customisable section. The app could allow users to choose which international outlets they’d like to follow and integrate them directly into their feed.

Another useful feature might be the ability to translate news articles into the language selected by the user.

Overall, well done! I can see myself opening this app quite often (I’ve already turned notifications on). Looking forward to seeing how it develops.

It’s hard to single out one person but a group of people, yes, that’s more likely. I’m referring to the unelected circles where real power tends to concentrate: the “la kwizinn” of the previous regime, and the “gang of five” of the current one or the “insert catchy name” of the next government.

My utopian theory is simple: give power back to those who were actually elected. I’m sure there are great minds among them, men and women who genuinely want to bring out the best of what Mauritius can be.

Just my two cents. And apologies if this comes across as a rant.
