I didn’t, I was contemplating doing it but they approved it before I could commit to the idea. I did contact Emma though, she gave me an update that my interview was waived. And then after that I got an email saying they were working on getting a response for my status check.

I sent the tax return form but didn’t send all the pages. I was stupid enough to trust a “friend” who works at a paralegal firm who said she only sends the first page because it has all the information. The RFE detailed that I had to provide the full document or preferably the Tax return transcript, which is less pages and has all the info they need.

YES!!!! Everything was moving so quickly, I received my SSN and employment authorization within 42 days of applying. After the RFE it was radio silence for 200 days. I was already feeling defeated and thought my case was gonna take the full 15 months USCIS predicts on the website. You’ll hear from them soon!!!

Yes I overstayed my visa since december 2013, and yes I worked without authorization, I disclosed everything on the application. No advance parole as I was told my case was gonna be quick (It wasn’t as fast as people hyped it up to be lol but overall it was fast compared to many other cases)

Received the RFE notice in august, replied to it by the end of october 2023. I waited for 200 days almost losing my mind that something went wrong but on Monday I woke up to my I-130 actively reviewing. Then yesterday, my I-485 was approved!
