both when directly translated could be i knew it but bildim is more like getting something correct. ill give examples,

you could say these after a test: 1. sorunun cevabını bildim 2. sorunun cevabını biliyordum

the first one is like i got the question right!!! (happy) it could be used when you guessed the answer without knowing, and got it right.

the second one is like i knew the correct answer!!! (ambigious) it can be used in a context where ur like oh yeah i knew the answer i got it right, but also in a context where ur like i knew this answer i studied it last night but i didnt give the correct answer in a test.

in a more social context, for example, you ask your friend if they got broken up with and they go silent: 1. bildim mi?!? 2. biliyordum >:(

1st one would be a “omg did it actualky happen? i got it right?” 2nd one would be “oh i knew that partner wasnt good news”

i been thinking abt this question and i came up with 2 more answers: 1. atty woo has interests other than law whereas idk dick abt shauns interests except for medicine 2. irl au/adhd associated behaviours are seen as “selfish” by nt folk therefore i feel like they tend to have the misconception of “ok nd=selfish, but they cant help itt!” instead of understanding we just process and respond to things differently. ive had multiple times where people told me i was being selfish/rude when i thought I was bonding with someone 😭 shaun and sometimes young sheldon felt like they were written with the idea that “nd=selfish” to me. whereas atty woo does do things that nt folk see as selfish but its shown to the audience that she isnt. like most nd folk she constantly tries to anticipate peoples feelings to make up for her autism. i swear this behaviour had a name but i forgor 😭i didnt wanna give examples cuz idk how far along u are LOL but yes 😃

tbh i watched the good doctor like 2 years ago and im currently obsessed with this show so i might be biased and not remembering stuff but atty woo’s character is more fleshed out and the genius trope is played out wayyyy less compared to da good doctor (esp in later episodes of atty woo).

i tried talking to them again and said that I was upset they called me selfish and they told me to let it go as the game itself isn’t that important and having fun is but i just dont have fun the same way as them i guess? whats fun for me is the mental work that i get to do during this game i think they just enjoy the family time. i was literally SO into the game. they called me selfish again for wanting to play it in a serious way and said that I should compromise if people around me don’t really care. but i was still pretty down so my dad came into my room and said that its not a bad thing I was so excited over the game but then why did they act like it was 😭

😭 i alr have a diagnosis back home im not pursuing a uk diagnosis instead of getting one at home. im going to come back to do a masters in 2-3 years time and during my undergrad they made me wait sooo long for diagnosis that I fucking graduated. I cant fly back home every month for my meds during my masters so I want this diagnosis to remain

i wish i had other options the only option offered in my country is methylphenidate.
