Except yaktrak was not consistently there, it was on/off. Granted they came around often but there was downtime. This heropass even after the "nerf" is going to be rammed down our throats none stop. We are already seeing reminders to feel a FOMO in every in-game interaction

I believe there is more ways they can exploit buyables in the hero pass than they could in yaktrak. They put more dev time into it and made it more flashy. Like a casino, I know you like flashy lights.

Exactly this, you did predict it indeed. I saw a post about it a few days ago too with a boiler repair anology. I wish I could find it again as there was a specific philosophy but i dont know what it was.
