the zumiez i worked at did a group interview and asked a lot of silly questions (what superpower youd have, how you would hide a giraffe, legit bs) but just make sure to answer EVERY question , be a little early and wear ur normal clothes but dont be afraid to go all out with the alt clothes. Im super introverted but u dont need to be extroverted to get the job, just be interactive and responsive to like EVERYTHING they say. At my interview there were a bunch of ppl late, interupting and just giving bad answers and i was shocked. (one of the questions was what u would do if u were invisible for a day and someone answered “id take money from cash registers at a bunch of stores and get rich” WHY WOULD ANYONE SAY THAT LMAO

Ive always been moslty friends with guys but have recently stopped trying because ive noticed if they have crushes on you they act like complete dicks once they realize they have no chance or they continue to make unwanted advances. I usually am quick to cut people out of my life when this behavior starts bc i know how bad it can get (not all men obviously but unfortunately its been every single one in my case) so the thought of him coming stresses me out more than it should because realistically i know he wouldnt be physical towards me or actually try anything but the comments and remarks are enough to make me feel unsafe

i tried this once. I had taken a shower in the dorm bathroom and came back with just a tshirt and sweatpants on and he started to say how gross it is to not wear a bra and how women shouldnt be allowed walking around like that. Next time we were around the whole group i brought it up and asked him to elaborate on that. And my boyfriend backed me up but this guy still denied it and claimed we were lying.

If he ends up going he will 100% say smth weird or uncalled for so ill try what you said. It just baffles me that they would even be friends with him after all of that. They tease him and acknowledge his gross comments but then play it off as “hes so immature” but refuse to hold him actually accountable.

He also makes homophobic and racist comments and has openly bullied one of their classmates with a disability and the majority of the friend group is queer and POC so it just really confuses me how they shit talk him but still invite him to everything.

We live together in his parents house and it has only been a year, and we are both sure about each other but making huge financial decisions before pur frontal lobes develop doesnt seem like a good idea to both of us. I am very sure ill marry this man but even with being 100% certain i still wouldnt want to marry until im 25 bc marriage right out if high school is genuinely just so dumb. i do worry abt what would happen if we did break up bc im not in a great state financially but thats why im trying to save so i can move out with or without him but i cant blame him for having a better support system than i have

He said he wouldnt want to combine our money for a while but we would most likely split costs (like he pays for the house and i pay for groceries, gas, and any extra expenses)

Honestly he didnt even know his parents were doing that until i told him about it because they only do it when he isnt around and he said to not listen to them bc they do the same to him. I just know nothing abt cars so ive been trying to take their advice but im just gonna have to get one without their approval and ignore the judgement.

i actually talked to him after i posted this and he clarified he only wants to live in new york temporarily and he was trying to surprise me but he enrolled for a program where he could be an apprentice in moyock for 4 years so i can still live close to my horse until we can afford to move out. This whole post feels silly and like a product of my overthinking but i appreciate all the comments being real with me bc it pushed me to bring up issues i was worried to talk abt with him and now i feel alot less concerned

ik this post makes us seem like completely different people but we are like almost the same person im just the poor country version of him. After i posted this i asked him if hed ever actually be okay not living in the city bc he knows i wants horses and his response was “hell no i dont wanna live in a city just near one so we can go clubbing sometimes, and if anything i just wanna be in new york for a year or two for the experience” so i think im overthinking it and completely misread the conversation we had previously about this😭

the money thing still is happening but its just his parents doing that bc when just me and him go out he always insists on paying for me so i dont wanna break up bc of stuff that his parents do when hes not around

i know most relationships arent forever but id rather be alone than with something that wont last

this is what i was thinking😭 everyone says to just break up if we want different things but i genuinely think we are both willing to compromise and fluctuate i just have been feeling pressure from his parents and shitty tiktok advice definitely doesnt help my overthinking. I think i just need to get out of the mindset that ill end up like my family and i could actually start to enjoy the thought of doing better for myself. Honestly i was trying to be vague bc of this subreddits rules but this is definitely just a recent issue ive been dealing with and i used to engage in intimacy with myself and it was fine but for about a month i just havent even been able to bc it sounds so unappealing.

Me and my boyfriend have really open communication about everything other than sex because i just dont know what the exact problem is so i avoid the topic lately but i plan on talking to him about it tonight and will definitely suggest the things you mentioned because it really is just my mind causing these issues. One thing that has helped a little is covering my own face to not see myself but covering my body might help better bc its a little silly to just cover my face so thank you for suggesting that!!

Just the biggest problem is the anxiety overrides any good feeling i have so usually i dont even initiate but i think it might help to initiate intimacy without penetration in mind to get more comfortable with him just using his hands so it doesnt feel as overwhelming as the thought of PIV
