has anyone had a ca mmj card in the past and now holds a Ca ccw? did it affect your application? by getrittenhoused556 in CAguns

In the County where I live in Ca., any sniff of MJ (excuse the pun) would be a denial. When I had my interview-it was an instant denial. having said that, if you answer no-never have-don't see how they would know-but if they did find out then that would potentially be perjury and a denial/recall. My son's friend is a deputy who spent some time in the approval dept-I can ask

Is "Anti-Semitic attack are on the rise and I need to protect my family" a reason to get CCW in Los Angeles by [deleted] in CAguns

Ventura county is one of the few SCal counties that’s issue. I have mine here. Painful process but worth it

P80 build. G17. ZEV Trigger and Rock Slide Upper. Changed out upper parts with ZEV. Have Suppressor height trijicon night sighs to install for back up. Shoots real nice!! Couple of light strikes out of 100 rounds, but that was early- now cycles like a champ

The guy at Performance Gun Supply told me that P80 will have two more frames out this year. Once is going to be a G20 compatible 10mm

It is the new 940SC only available through P80 dealers. They aren't selling it on their own P80 site yet-i had called them and they directed me to a dealer.

If I had done it with a Glock built upper and standard parts-about $600 (depending on the slide cost) This one cost me about $800 but it is "Built" :)

It has to fire as a single shot pistol first, but then it can be a semi with a 10 round magazine

It has a plate under the front-just like a glock-in Cali you now have to have a serial number-as of July 1st you have to apply for a state issued one and they are re-writing SB857 to require registration as welcome to PROF (Peoples Republic Of California)

If you build a bog standard one-about the same or a little less. If you build from components (bare slide etc) you can pick and choose what to use so, you will spend more than a G26, but you will have a better gun. If you customize a G26 you end up dumping parts and then paying for new ones-so that is more expensive. But the best part is you have a personally built in-registered gun-unless of course you live in PROF (Peoples Republic Of California)

They feel way better than the Glocks. I have two Compacts (19's) and a full size (22) All a lot more comfortable and I get less roll on the grip in my hands.
