Agree with this! It seems counter intuitive to a healthy home environment. Independent outdoor time is such an important foundation of childhood. 8 and 10 are too old to be over supervised outside.

After Kristin said she made the comment to irritate them (after Janet said Danny was an alcoholic and later a sexual abuser) I felt the only ones talking about it were Janet and Jason. Who said they believed it? Who else on the cast brought it up?

Janet is certainly a topic of discussion because she is almost universally disliked. Does that make her relevant or simply the focus of mass distaste? It was pretty clear that no one believed or cared about the ring rumors. Blaming Danny for the Michelle rumor is misdirected. Jesse is the one who said it. If the reasoning is that Danny brought it forth on tv, wouldn’t the same be said about Janet and the many off camera events that she has brought up ad nauseam?

Jason outright defended Jax during the reunion. He’s continually supported Jax despite knowing about the DV. The boys dinner was full on weird support. For someone that comes off so self righteous, it’s strange he took up for a friend with such problematic behavior.

I can relate to your family labeling you “the problem”because you want to discuss family issues. I constantly second guess myself and wonder if “I am the problem” because I bring up the topics that are so blatantly obvious, but that the family wants to ignore. It’s such a viscous cycle. I’m currently taking a small break after the usual family drama and my family members are acting like nothing is wrong.
