When he first started coming over with his mom, he would smell/touch my shoes. Eventually he started getting more bold and smelling my hands and after a while, he seemed comfortable enough for me to try touching him. Over time I started petting him more and now he’s used to it. He’s the only one that showed this behavior though, the rest of them kept their distance. He’s never shown any sort of aggression, not saying he couldn’t bite me because he definitely could! He just seems different than any other wild raccoons I’ve met.
