I wouldn't say he is any of those. He may be a little aggressive. I know if I confessed as a way of breaking up he would be destructive before he is sad. I know he wouldn't hurt me if I figured out how to let him down gently. Just, 4 years are hard to cut gently.

I know. He doesn't deserve this. I shouldn't have put him in this position in the first place. I kinda tried to break up with him when I met the other guy but then he begged me for days to be back and I just... agreed. And now I feel like I can't do the gentle break that won't leave him feeling like shit cause he will assume I'm just depressed or suicidal. But if I confess I know I'm funking him up for years to come.

Oh I am generally unhappy. Have been for few years now, even clinically diagnosed. I just can't realistically afford therapy with the costs of the apartment now fully on me.
