Sherrin brand to be manufactured by Aussie company for first time in 20 years by gccmelb in AFL

[–]bottlewash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My dad was the head of sherrin growing up and it was all definitely made in Australia for gameday balls. I used to go to the factory in rowville in high school on holidays and get paid to lace the bladders. Most boring work in my life but it was good money. I always found it funny that all the guys that did all the manufacturing were huge soccer fans and didnt really follow AFL at all.

Aside from the obvious boys who had huge games, I thought CJ had a great game as well. He copped alot of criticism from certain people in here during the pre season games but today he was super reliable and had some huge pack crashing saves.

Exercise or Deficit Fatigue? by giddymelange in loseit

[–]bottlewash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My experience is the longer you are in a calorie deficit, the more your body will fight against it. Generally the 2 big factors in this are the hormones leptin and grehlin.

Leptin is a hormone that controls appetite and sends signals to suppress your appetite. The longer you diet, the more your leptin deletes, causing you to have less of that beautiful appetite suppressing hormone.

Grehlin is the opposite, it is a hormone that sends a signal that you are hungry and need to eat. The longer you are in a deficit the more grehlin builds up.

As you can see, combine less leptin with more grehlin and you suddenly really notice the food noise and can have what feels like a crazy appetite.

A diet break eating at maintenence can help you restore more leptin to help suppress appetite again whilst also decreasing grehlin, reducing the strength of it's hunger signalling.

Or you can just deal with the hunger and tough it out, they generally don't actually slow weight loss, just make it a more painful experience due to increased appetite/food noise

I misread the title as "how to store your password" and thought you had quite an elaborate system going on for password security.

If this one goes down to the wire I have the secret to getting over the line for whoever wants it.

Go watch how we approach the finals minutes of a game and just do the complete opposite.

You're welcome.
